FEDERAL PARDONS AND FEDERAL FIREARMS RIGHTS RESTORATION

In recent years the U. S. Department of Justice – Office of the Pardon Attorney has become more receptive to recommending that the President grant pardons to qualified individuals seeking clemency from a prior federal conviction. The U.S. Department of Justice has also implemented a new process under 18 U.S.C. § 925(c), for qualified individuals to apply for federal firearms rights restoration. Attorney Steven J.
